Why Ovuvo?
I knew I’d saved it.
I just couldn’t remember what it was called or where I’d saved it.

500 open tabs.
Still couldn’t find it.
I maxed out with 500 tabs open on my iPhone Safari. They were things I thought I might want to find again.
On social media, I had hundreds more saved things across different platforms.
Then I was looking for a Japanese restaurant in London I’d saved a few months earlier. Could I remember the name? Nope. Could I remember where I’d saved it? Nope.
How many times does this have to happen? How long do I need to spend looking again for something I already saved?
That’s how Ovuvo was conceived. I wanted to be able to start with what I remembered and find the thing again.
Saving isn’t the hard part.
You see something useful and save it because you think you’ll want it again. A restaurant for a trip. Something for the house. An article you don’t have time to read.
By the time you need it, the exact name may be gone. So may the memory of which app you saved it in.
Ovuvo is being built for that moment. Save something useful, then find it again from the details you remember. You shouldn’t have to build a perfect filing system first.
